This tour is for anyone who wants to know more about rich culture of some of the most unusual Tanzanian tribes, learn how to survive in true wilderness, have a look at some of the world’s venomous snakes and explore abundant wildlife in different habitats.
Note:
Each option includes the same itinerary; they only differ in type of accommodation. Details and photographs of different Lodges and Tented Camps are given in Safari Accommodation section. Overnight in Lake Eyasi is possible only in tents and permanent tented camps, as there are no Lodge facilities.

ITINERARY:
DAY 1: Arusha – Snake Park – Lake Eyasi
Depart Arusha in the morning for Snake Park, where you can observe some of the world’s venomous snakes (Green and Black Mamba, Puff Adder, Gaboon Viper etc.) and other reptiles including Lizards, Chameleons and Nile Crocodiles from a safe distance. Maasai outside the park also arrange camel rides. After lunch drive to Tanzania’s largest soda lake, Lake Eyasi, for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Tented Camp/Camp (there are no Lodge facilities).
DAY 2: Lake Eyasi – the Real Bushmen – Ngorongoro
After early breakfast, transfer to where Haadzabe tribe, the Real Bushmen reside. Join them on their morning hunt for food. You will find out first hand how to survive in the wilderness and get to know their unique culture and way of living, which has not changed for thousands of years. In the afternoon drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp.
DAY 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Maasai Boma – Lake Manyara
After breakfast descend into the astonishing Natural Zoo, the Ngorongoro Crater. Abundant with wildlife, you will have a high chance to spot the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch. Afterwards an optional stop by the colorful Maasai tribe, the pastoral nomads who vigorously resisted change and still live the same as they have for centuries. In the afternoon, a drive towards Lake Manyara National Park for dinner and overnight. Overnight: Lodge/Hotel/Tented Camp/Camp.
DAY 4: Lake Manyara – Arusha
After breakfast the whole day is dedicated to exploring wildlife in the Lake Manyara National Park. This lush little park is nestled under the Great Rift Valley, and provides a home to a wide range of different animals including Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Leopards, Hippos and rare tree-climbing Lions who love to sleep and rest on Acacia branches six to seven meters above the ground. More than 400 species of birds have been recorded here as well. In the afternoon, return to Arusha town.
